Lessons
Fill The Void provides drum, guitar, bass and recording lessons at $25/half hour to people of all ages. Lessons may include audio and video recordings of your accomplishments, and/or full-production covers that you perform. Vocal lessons also available upon request.
Band Program
We place like-minded musicians of similar age in bands, and provide them with all the tools they need to be successful in the industry. Packages Include recording, videography, digital platform distribution (Spotify, iTunes, etc), rehearsal space, merch orders and so much more. Our seasoned band coach has shared the stage with Adam Gontier of Three Days Grace, Members of The Tea Party and Bif Naked, to name a few. Already in a band? We can accomidate that.
Recording & Mixing
Get your songs recorded and mixed by Ottawa based engineer; Andrew Parmelee. Graduating at the top of his class in 2015 (honours and best production award) and with upwards of ten different mixes currently on mainstream radio, he does not rest until you are 110% satisfied with your music. Live sound recording straight from the board also available. The studio is equipped with industry standard hardware such as the UAD Apollo 8p (16 ins), Neuman mics and much more. Andrew Parmelee // Owner // Head Engineer
In 2014 , Multi-instrumentalist and multi-media enthusiast, Andrew Parmelee set out to create a brand that embraced the northern music scene to reflect the hard work and dedication put into being chasing the dream.
Since starting his musical journey on the drums at age 9, and releasing his first EP at age 15, he has accomplished some significant mile-stones. As an internationally touring musician, he's shared the stage with members of top-tier bands such as Three Days Grace, The Tea Party, Bif Naked and Poison. Andrew brings a high level of industry know-how and experience.
Graduating as Honours in the Music Industry Arts program at Algonquin College, Andrew also received the award for "Best Production"- the highest award given out by industry professors, out of 75 of his classmates. In addition, he has since developed a passion for video production and editing. Andrew is fluent in Avid Protools, Adobe Premiere, Photoshop & After Effects.
With music at his core; Andrew intends to bring the inspiration to all art forms to embrace and speak to the artist in all of us.
Joel Lefevbre // Graphic Designer // Assistant Engineer
Graduating from Music Industry Arts & Marketing at Algonquin College, Joel has been an active member of the music community for over 15 years. He has a deep understanding of musical mood and theory, which lead to him creating multiple scores for video games and film. Joel has achieved fluency in Avid Protools, Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
With his gifted visual artistic ability, he is a huge asset to the Fill The Void graphic design team. In addition, as an accomplished vocalist, guitarist, drummer and recording engineer- he lends his input to our rap and hip-hop clients, as well as various other genres.
